The sessions are sheduled for 3 full days. In line with previous conferences in Magdeburg (2008) and Milwaukee (2010) three majorthemes:

Theme 1 will deal with recentadvances and methodological issues in resting state data analysis.

Theme 2 will cover the physiological and physiocalbackground of low frequency fluctuations includingelectrophysiological correlates, the impact of physiological noiseand insights from pharmacological challenges.

Theme 3 will focus on applications using resting statefMRI with a specific focus on psychiatric and neurological diseases.Sessions with an expected mean duration of 2 hrs will include 4-5speakers each, and a specific emphasis is made for active discussionsduring the sessions. Additionally plenary evening lectures will be featured.
