Magdeburg offers a
variety of historical and cultural sites
that you or a accompanying person should not miss.
Among them are a large number of old clerical buildings, such as the impressive 13th century cathedral,
One of the major site to visit is the green citadel by the famous architect Hundertwasser.
Also we recommend a visit of the current exhibition at Magdeburgs cultural museum or a day trip to the historical town of Quedlienburg which is under UNESCO patrimonage.
If desired a day trip including the classical christmas market can be organized. Also on Saturday evening we plan a visit to Magdeburgs traditional Christmas market.
